The Arts Council have kindly funded The Poole Passion Play since 2009, but due to government cut backs in funding, the Arts Council are no longer able to fund us.

The production is very expensive to produce and it has also become extremely difficult to find enough actors willing to give their time and energy freely to fill the cast.

​

Therefore, it is with great sadness that we have to cancel the production of 'Footsteps' for 2024 and for the foreseeable future.

​

We would like to thank all actors, crew and audiences who have given their time, energy, talents and money to the Poole Passion over many years.

​

Especially to Sharon Muiruri Coyne for creating the Poole Passion with such drive, passion and talent, and to Ann Balaam for adding her own talents and passion to give it a new chapter and continue the dream.

​

It has been an honour and a blessing to create these special, unique productions.
